Dear Friend,

We are open! As we continue to navigate through Covid 19, we have been closely monitoring information and recommendations from the CDC and Ohio Department of Health. In accordance to current guidelines and recommendations we have put extra protocols in place to reduce risk to our patients and staff. I would like to share these changes with you.

1. All workers in our office are subject to a temperature check upon their arrival to work. If an employee has an elevated temperature, they will be sent home.

2. All patients will also have their temperature checked upon arrival into the office. If a patient's temperature is greater than 100.4, they will be sent home and instructed to contact their PCP. If their temperature is elevated AND they have a cough or sore throat, they will be sent to the ER for Covid 19 testing.

3. Only essential personnel will be allowed in the exam room area. That includes patient, doctor and medical assistant. Guests will be asked to remain in the waiting room, or preferably their cars. If the patient is a minor, one guardian will be allowed to accompany them to the exam rooms.

4. We are lucky to have front and back doors with available parking. We have instituted an alternating front door, back door policy. This is done to keep patients separated and safe. Prior to your appointment, a staff member may contact you and let you know what door to enter.

5. We have always taken pride and have been complimented on the cleanliness of our office. In addition to our previous sterilization and cleaning policies, we are taking extra care to clean door handles, common areas, bathrooms, etc.

6. For those that are still nervous about coming to the office, we have been cleared to use Virtual Visits. These visits will be performed via FaceTime, or phone call, and allow an office visit without the risk of personal contact. Insurance with Copay may be used for this visit. To use this service, just call the office prior to your appointment and inform the receptionist that you would like to have a Virtual Visit.

7. If you are worried about an acute issue, and would like to avoid going to a local ER or Urgent Care Center, we can care for all foot and ankle conditions in our office.

We look forward to continuing to serve your foot and ankle needs during this trying time. If you have any questions, feel free to call or message us.

Appointments are available by calling 234.212.9940 or online.

Sincerely,
EJ Nemet, DPM
